How to eat a mamey fruit
We ship mamey fruit that is unripen. It may arrive ripened or closely ripened. Please refrigerate the mamey if it is ripened and soft already.If the fruit has not fully ripened (hard to the touch), you can leave it out at room temperature or leave it somewhere with a warmer temperature to help it ripen up. Don’t forget to check on your fruit daily while it ripens. You can cut the brown skin off with a knife or peel it off. Or, you can cut the fruit in half and use a spoon to eat it the flesh. Don’t eat the brown seeds in the middle.
